Ladder Up Basic Training

Event Description:

Ladder Up, a volunteer organization dedicated to helping low-income families gain access to financial tools and resources necessary to climb the economic ladder, offers students at North Central College the opportunity to train and then work one-on-one with these individuals to help file their tax returns. It's never too early to start gaining relevant experience to put on your resume. Volunteering with Ladder Up not only exposes you to what it could be like to work in tax preparation and builds client-facing communication skills but, it also shows future employers your ambition, dedication, and values toward helping your community.
